3/17/18: Incarnation To Do List
Love Unreasonably – the ones who are the hardest to love need it the most.
Serve Extravagantly – pour yourself out so that The Beloved can fill you.
Remember that this is why you chose to come back.
Learn from everyone and everything all of the time. It is the water required for the unfoldment of your Soul.
All that is asked of us concerning our mistakes (after feeling remorse, apologizing, making amends and offering restitution) is to learn from them.
Guilt, shame, regret, self-condemnation, and self-denigration are optional equipment and not recommended for this vehicle.
Better yet, learn from other people’s mistakes.
Count it all for Joy, and bring this Joy to others.
Pick up milk (of human kindness) on your way Home.
Heard while in prayer May 8, 2018:
Love unreasonably.
It’s easy to love the ones who give us what we want, who let us get our way, the beautiful ones.
You are invited to love the ones who give you no particular reason to love them, those who give you plenty of reason not to, and to love the ones only God finds beautiful.
Love unreasonably.
What’s in it for you? Your Heart will heal, your joy will increase, and the world you live in will transform in miraculous ways.
Only this.
What group of people receives the most Valentines? Teachers! – demonstrating that Valentine’s Day is much more than a romantic holiday.
To those among us who are single or grieving the loss of their loved one, this time of year is an invitation to embrace how well loved we are by family, friends, and our various communities.
An even more powerful invitation, which I extend to all, is to explore Loving Unreasonably… to love this world with all its brokenness and beauty… to love ourselves with mercy for our wounded places and honoring our strengths…to love those who have given us no particular reason to love them…and to love those who have given us plenty of reasons not to.
Dare to be willing to be a “fool for love” and love unreasonably. Nothing we do for love is ever wasted.
The forward momentum we experience this time of year is amplifying the intensity of the wave of energy that has been growing at an accelerated rate on our planet since early 2012. Last year, you may have felt as though you were chasing this wave, trying to catch it and keep up with the greater complexity in our lives and the faster flow of time. Since early January, we’ve “dropped into” this wave, and we’re riding it, even as it continues to grow.
Good news!: for those of us who are resilient, resourceful, empowered and able to experience joy within the challenges of life, we are being carried strongly towards the fulfillment our dreams, visions and goals. Staying balanced and focused on the positive allows us to ride this wave without wiping out. It will peak in late September and life will begin to be an easier and lighter experience for many over the months that follow.
Tricky news: for anyone who has been avoiding accountability for their decisions and actions, their inability to stay balanced and focused on the positive is leading to epic “wipe outs”. We see this in the increase of violence within our own community as well as in the nation and our world.
Grace: we have amazing resources available to us, and there is a growing presence of groups who are effectively transforming our world for the better.
